IYM Emohua Celebrates With Dame Judith Amaechi On The Occasion Of Her Birthday

The IYM Emolga Chapter led by Sir (Hon.) Lucky U. Worluh on this special day felicitate with our God sent and loving mother; Dame Judith Amaechi.

Sincerely, you are our great mother. Your kindness, courage and steadfastness is exemplary. We love you dearly and will always do.

You have and still impacting lives meaningfully. Permit us to mention but few of your positive impacts as our way of showing appreciation.

Your passion for a society where women, youths and children with humble background will be given a place of respect and sense of belonging spurred you to set up an NGO called Empowerment Support Initiative(ESI).

You sponsored the Child/Women right act at the state legislative chamber to enhance the prospects of women in the society.

Through ESI, you donated the first Mammogram Machine to the Rivers State health sector.
You also initiated the ladies cabbies programme(first of its kind in the history of Rivers State) in partnership with Skye Bank Plc, where women were given cabs after acquiring driving skills to engage in commercial transportation.

Through the ESI workshop programmes, numerous women and youths drawn from 319 wards in Rivers State were engaged in skill acquisition ranging from soap making technology, tailoring, electronics repairs, plumbing, painting, carpentry, upholstery, making of confectioneries and so on.

Through ESI, you became the first mother to spread kindergarten schools in virtually all the 23 LGAs in Rivers State.

Furthermore, you recorded another milestone with your Agricultural Wealth Empowerment Program(AWEP), in partnership With the graduate school of management, Rivers State University of Science and Technology aimed at equipping rural farmers with the requisite skill and training to boost food production and farm produce across communities in Rivers State. Over 2000 women in Rivers State benefited from it.

Still fresh in our memories, the ESI empowerment programme in partnership with NDDC trained hundreds of youths from Niger Delta Region in different skills and profession in Imo State with Foreign experts. On 3rd February, 2018, the set of trainees were graduated in an event hosted in Port Harcourt.

Your charisma and good deeds are uncountable. Mummy, You are a God sent to all, especially those of us in IYM Emolga Chapter.

We truly celebrate you from the depth of our hearts and hope to celebrate you even bigger as God blesses and strengthens us

God bless you mightily and continue to strengthen you now and forever. Amen.

We love you and celebrate you specially this day.
