The General Commander of the Nigerian Civil Defense and Security Corps, Mohammadu Gana, has condemned the unjust killing of Hon. Ndubuisi Emenike, the Imo North senatorial district candidate by a Civil Defense personnel from Imo State command.
At the Corps National headquarter, while briefing the Management, in Abuja, Gana, described the death of hon. Ndubuisi as a sad and significant loss for the family, the entire people of Imo State and Nigeria at large
Very sad about the incident, the CG announced that the errant officer had been arrested and handed over to the police and that due diligence would be taken to ensure that the personnel is punished and justice served accordingly
He also ordered Owerri District E and the Assistant Commandant General of (ACG) to conduct a full investigation into the matter and ensure that law enforcement ensures that all legal scales are used to ensure that personnel to serve as a deterrent Others.
