Gov. Wike Gives Traders 5 Days To Vacate Shops Marked For Demolition

The Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has been moving from shop to shop asking the traders to vacate from marked building.

Governor Nyesom Wike calls on traders and residents to work closely with the government to fulfill the three flyovers promised.

He moved from the shopping district to the crowded Rebisi Bridge (formerly Garrison) and Rumugba Bridge (formerly Artillery) and asked traders and residents to vacate form marked buildings for demolition, on Thursday 9th January, 2020.

The Governor called on the traders and residents to make sacrifices, Because the flyover is beneficial to all residents of this state

I came to talk with them to help them better understand our efforts. This is currently difficult, but we need to understand them. he said

He said, “I took the responsibility to explain personally that the time that we told them had passed, but I extended it until the next ruin began.

“I’m here because I don’t need excesses from Julius Berger. This bridge must be delivered on time. “
