By the prompting of the Holy Spirit i visited some internally displaced persons around the Gwarinpa area of Abuja – Obiaruko Ndukwe

Yesterday, we, by the prompting of the Holy Spirit visited some internally displaced persons around the Gwarinpa area of Abuja.

I occasionally drive past them and one day, as I was taking an early morning walk, I decided to stop by and share some money to them. I enquired from someone why they were there, since they are not natives of Abuja. I was told that at night, Trucks are used to ferry them from war-torn states to the city of Abuja, where they are dumped with no shelter, food or clothings, talk more of Medicare and schools for the children.

On Sunday, God asked me to make them happy on Salah day, so I managed to get some food packs and wrappers for the women. By the time we started sharing, the number increased beyond our calculation. We took the names of those who didn’t get and promised to return another day.

Most importantly, we will have to bring this to the attention of the Nigerian Government through the Minister of FCT, Humanitarian services and NEMA. And possibly to the North East Development Commission.

Great Citizens, there is work to be done. The field is green but the laborers are few.
All hands should be on deck.

Don’t be left out when the harvest time comes.

Thanks to those who shared the post on Facebook.
I’ll try to upload the pictures here. The videos are too heavy and difficult to transfer from the iPad to this phone
