Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal has joined Inter Milan from Barcelona in a 1m euro (£900,000) deal.

The signing reunites the 33-year-old with manager Antonio Conte after the couple achieved three subsequent Serie A titles concurrently at Juventus.

Inter earned a belated beginning to the new season on Saturday when they met Fiorentina.

Vidal had been with the Catalan club for almost four-seasons, having formerly taken advantage of playing for Bayern Munich after four years at Juventus.

Born in San Joaquín in Santiago, Chile on 22 May 1987, Vidal made 33 La Liga appearance for Barcelona, scoring 8 and assisting 2. In the champions league, Vidal made 7 appearances but couldn’t find the back of the net and failed to make a single assist.

The Chilean has enjoyed success in all the teams he has played for and will be looking to sign off his football career on a good note.
