Laycon, has become the first housemate to be verified amongst the big brother’s housemates

Loycon who seems to be winning over loads of fans has over 45,000 followers on Instagram is a singer.

His musical talent has also been hailed by BBNaija host, Ebuka and top record label, Chocolate City

His team is currently reeling in excitement following Laycon’s recent social media achievement; the much-coveted blue check on Instagram.

The 2020 BBNaija Lockdown housemate who has a following of over 45,000 on the picture-sharing app, recently became verified, making him the first housemate to attain such recognition.

His management who shared a screenshot of his verified Instagram bio described it as ‘grace’, much to the excitement of his fans and followers.

The reality show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, appears to be impressed by the housemate’s music talent and judging from a tweet by top record label, Chocolate City, it appears Ebuka is not alone in this.

Singer, Small Doctor has called on upcoming artistes to support Laycon as he is one of them.

Celebrity blogger, Tunde Ednut, appears to also be in Camp Laycon, as he recently took to the micro-blogging platform to show his support.

He wrote: “Retweet if you believe that Laycon will blow as a rapper after #bbnajia2020 Raise hand #LayconOurAristotle”

Only a few days ago, Nigerian media personality and BBAfrica winner, Uti Nwachukwu, took to social media via his Twitter page to share his thoughts on the BBNaija 2020 Lockdown edition.

According to the young man, every BBNaija season usually has a housemate that is followed by grace and loved by many fans.

Uti said that this show of love and support for the housemate usually leads to their eventual victory and that the housemate who represents that this year is Laycon.

The fifth season of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show commenced on Sunday, July 19, and fans have started expressing mixed reactions at the crop of housemates that will be gracing the TV screens for the next 71 days.

Among the contestant who caused a buzz at the premiere show is an individual identified as Laycon. Many had ridiculed the young man for his looks and wondered how he managed to find himself in the Big Brother house.

Interestingly, hours after the BBNaija housemate was trolled on social media, new information about him attracted a lot of people to him after reports surfaced online claiming he emerged as the best graduating student from the Department of Arts at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in 2016.
