In the growing determination to rebuild, reposition and mobilization for the All Progressives Congress, the Progressive Change Ambassadors (PCA) under the leadership of Mr. Ikechi Akpuh familiarized with a chieftain of the party and former Rivers State commissioner for transportation, Chief Hon. Michael Ibinabo West in a formal courtesy visit at his office today 30th of April 2021.
The president of the largest Pro-APC pressure group Mr. Ikechi Akpuh in his address thanked the former lawmaker for the rare opportunity of meeting with PCA despite his busy schedules. He assured the party chieftain of the firm resolve of the NGO to take the reawakening message of the APC to all nook and crannies of the state and beyond to ensure that the party is covered at the base come 2023.
The party’s media director *Mr. Akpuh* stated emphatically that the Progressive Change Ambassadors as a pro-APC pressure group is strictly affiliated and loyal to the mainstream party as led by the honourable Minister of transportation Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi CON and harbours no patronage for any individual, group of persons nor interest within, or outside the APC, but stands with Amaechi now and in the future. He however apprised to the delight of all that a friend of Amaechi is a friend of PCA.
In his reaction, the former Rivers State commissioner for transportation expressed amazement over the force of PCA while welcoming members of the NGO to his office. He stated categorically that of all the pressure groups he’d seen in the party, the Progressive Change Ambassadors (PCA) is the most formidable.
Chief Michael Ibinabo West (Hon.) revealed that the political glory has left the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) under Nyesom Wike, stating that he is more focused now than ever to empty the already drowning PDP into the promising All Progressives Congress (APC) with his onward mobilization for the party. He implored all to watch out for a massive “defection tsunami” for next month.
Speaking further, the former lawmaker reminisced on his days as a lawmaker under the administration of the honourable Minister of transportation, affirming that Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is a builder, known for building lasting infrastructures as well as building people. He decried the actions of some fellows such as *Hon. Barr. Chidi Lloyd* who abandoned the ship of the man that made them what they are today, describing such actions as the height of ingratitude and ignobility.
While urging PCA to sustain the energy he’d heard and seen, the party’s chieftain assured the group of unreserved support to ensure the vision and efforts of the group grows stronger for the betterment of APC. He implored everyone to keep the faith, the story of APC come 2023 will be better than the former.
In a closing remark, the Rivers APC administrative secretary II Mr. Emmanuel Nte who was invited to the event as an observer disclosed that during the last political outing, RVAPC recorded a total number of one hundred and ninety eight (198) Non Governmental Organizations (NGO). He stated that however, from a point of knowledge, PCA stands as number one in every sense relevant to the party. He thanked the host Chief Hon. Michael Ibinabo West for his support to PCA, assuring that a support to the Progressive Change Ambassadors is a support to Rivers State chapter of the APC.
