The Rukpokwu Covid-19 Taskforce has continue to monitor the compliance of the lockdown order as directed by the Rivers State Government which is a 24-hour total lockdown as measures to check the spread of the coronavirus in the state.
In the process of carrying out the exercise in the day three, the Taskforce got an information of a lady who returned from Lagos some days back and they immediately called the Rivers State Ministry of Health to carry her for testing together with her close male friend.
The leader of the Taskforce team, Mr. ThankGod Owhomka Wuzor and the Youth President General of Rukpokwu, Engr. Onwukwe Achinike have called on the residents of Rukpokwu to maintain this decorum of staying safe at home and communicate to the team if they suspect any strange movement around their environment to fish out the bad eggs who are using this period to steal.
Covid-19 is real, let’s join the state government to curtail it spread in the state by being vigilant.
Together we will combat this deadly virus.
