Sacrifice Always Precedes Success

Are you still wondering why others succeed where you fail, even when adopt same strategies? You often blame it on Grace or luck or even evil forces when you have failed in one thing.

The Bible is full of evidential accounts of men and women who were not necessarily spiritual in the sense the world understands, but recorded tremendous successes in their pursuits. In everyday life, same is true as some who are not even Born Again nor are Christians in the first place, are making great strides in different sectors.

One very thing is missing in your strategy if you have done all you could do to succeed but still struggling. While we agree with the scriptures that the race is not to the swift… neither bread to the Sower (Eccl 9:11), it is also biblically correct from the days of Noah to Abraham, Isaac to Jacob, David and Solomon and others, that giving up will lead to your going up.

Noah had to give up everything he accumulated in life, including the clean animals he saved from the floods, and sacrificed them in order to have a fresh start a new beginning!
    (Gen 8:20-21).

Time won’t permit to recount all others who had to make deep sacrifices in other to succeed.
Solomon offered 1000 sacrifices just in one day and God asked him what he would want Him do for him(Solomon), instead of Solomon being the one to ask God for something big while offering the biggest sacrifice!

What are you sacrificing today??? Are you tying it to what you want to get? Is it spiritually induced or emotionally and politically motivated?
It’s time to begin again. Make that uncommon sacrifice as much as it lies within your available resources and watch God offer you an open cheque, in the name of Jesus Christ
